ASTM D4169-22 Standard
The ASTM D4169 standard has been updated and is now indexed as 2022.
The main changes concern the vibration test under the "AIR" profile:
- A new PSD profile.
- The previous choice among 3 severity levels is replaced by a unique combination of 3 Test Levels (low / medium / high).
- The application duration is a minimum of 120 minutes, including 3 cycles of 40 minutes each, detailed as follows:
- Low level: 27 minutes
- Medium level: 10 minutes
- High level: 3 minutes.
